Release 8 has now been in use for well over a year and it has proven to
be a solid performer. Of course, there were a few bugs which were
corrected in the minor release updates 8.1p/8.2 and 8.3p/8.4.
But fortunately, none of these bugs were very serious and most of
them only occurred under very special circumstances. Not surprisingly,
some of the bugs were related to the newly introduced module 1.31.
The following list contains a summary of the bugs which were reported
for Release 8.0 and which have been corrected in the meantime:
- Module 1.31:
-
Several small bugs were corrected which were related to differences in
the layout of the local and external data bank. They concerned:
-
importing a network scenario from a data bank which does not contain an extra attribute table to a data bank which does;
-
importing a network scenario containing extra node attributes from an external data bank which does not have the same dimension for centroids/zones;
-
importing full matrices from an external data bank that uses a zone system which is different from the one used in the local data bank.
- Module 2.12:
-
The incremental and decremental link mode changes (e.g. ``
+b
'', ``-cp
'') were only carried out on links the user specified explicitly,
but not for automatic operations, such as return links modified
with ``=
'' or the option ``TWO-WAY LINKS
'', or when repeating
a previous modification using the option ``USE SAME DATA
''.
- Module 6.15:
-
Shortest time paths were not displayed correctly on scenarios
which had been imported with module 1.31 from data banks that had a
different maximum number of centroids and if the scenario had not been
reassigned since the import operation.
All the above bugs were corrected in release updates 8.1p/8.2 and 8.3p/8.4.
For PC systems, the most recent partial release updates can be downloaded
